Here is a picture of my aluminum boxes that Richard Elkins built for me. They bolted on both sides very nicely. They are waterproof and lock. I have a dry bag buggy corded to the top. In the dry bag I have my tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, folding chair, and folding table. All the rest of my camping stuff, clothes, food, laptop computer and a few other things easily fit into the boxes. The black bag on the back holds the stuff that I will need during the day... I leave in one week!

It is now only 10 days until I leave on my almost 10,000 mile motorcycle trip. I have everything ready that is on my list:

> Oatmeal, powdered milk, and dried dates in 33 baggies for breakfast.
> 33 freeze dried dinners.
> A brand new little backpacking one-burner cookstove that runs on regular gasoline. I will have a two gallon can of gas with me in case I have a long stretch with no gas stations.
> A motorcycle tire repair kit in case I have a flat tire along with little CO2 tubes to fill the tire after it is fixed. It is a very simple little tool used to put a plug in the puncture from the outside of the tire while it is on the bike. Works good according to other bikers reviews that I have read.
> I also ordered and installed a cruise control, in that the only thing that seemed to bother me on long rides was the cramping in my right hand from holding the throttle. This seems to help a lot...
> I also ordered and installed highway pegs so that I can stretch my legs out while riding. I love these.
